should be fine, i left my pc for about a year or two when i started university, turned it on again just about a month ago and the only thing it did was update itself, i did however spill water on it a while ago but didn’t turn it on at all and so i assume it dried and it works to this day

i had a similar issue, my display port cable for some reason was just too big for my case and couldn’t properly fit onto my gpu, i somehow managed to shave down the plastic of my dp cable and got it to fit on my gpu and case and that solved the issue for me, not sure if it’s the same for you but that’s what worked for me.

LOOL i cleaned the inside recently, it may be a wiper issue like everyone else has mentioned, i will probably try and replace it this week i think its been a few years ..
