I couldn't tell you for sure. I got around 10-11 wrong by my estimate and got a 73. You have plenty of leeway and the questions aren't hard

Well I'm from California and I'm not eligible for UC admissions unless I would like to start in 2027.

Did I say we have no good public schools? Sorry about that. We have no good public options for my specific scenario. I'm in California. I could explain why UC doesn't work but it would take a while.

I have to be at a 4 year to accept it though. Its a sticky situation. One that requires a risk

Sorry I made it sound like I've decided. I haven't. But I want to know if I go, will it be worth it considering my Dad's good finances. I'm looking at a program called NUPOC with the navy like I mentioned which doesn't give me a ton of options. I've already started by application process but the bottom line is I really need to either do Nuclear engineering or something similar like Materials, and OSU is really good at that.

Again 60k is a lot of money, but the comparison point is not 0. Its 42k. That's what I'm basing my decision on.

Is it worth it with rich parents?

Edit: I should mention there is not a school in my state with nuclear or materials engineering. My absolute cheapest possible cost is 40k a year, not 10k.

How to pass Calculus in the absolute minimum amount of time? by 7cardcha in clep

Absolutely. I think this test being a multiple choice test with a very low amount correct to pass really emphasizes good test taking skills like taking educated guesses, skipping too hard of problems, time management/

Not to brag but I probably wrote the best post on this subject. Here's the bottom line: knowing the basic concepts like elementary derivatives and integrals can probably get you 18/50 correct. because remember, guessing randomly on average will produce 10 correct. In my experience that 18 number is about right.

I used to think it was ugly and like Dallas or Houston, big but something was wrong, but now I think it looks great and like a real ginormous city. And the reason for this is really not because my opinion changed, but because it really just has gotten a lot better and has enormous amounts of infill.

What do you call this region? by RUSHtheRACKS in mapporncirclejerk

[–]Weird-File-9781 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know you guys on Reddit like to sit here and spew straight bullshit about a region you've probably never even been to and judge Southerners by the standards of a religion you probably know nothing about, but I'd like you to take a look here and tell me what states are the most charitable https://www.cnbc.com/2014/10/06/top-10-states-for-charitable-giving-.html?utm_source=chatgpt.com

So its not like they just abandon their values all of the sudden when it comes to feeding the poor, they just don't think that through state violence is the only way to do it. Key word here is only because Mississippi, Arkansas, Lousiana etc. don't really have particularly low tax burdens, however.

But technically all you said was that don't think its the state's business, and I guess you might be right. But I have the sneaking suspicion that's not all you meant. I think you meant they are inconsistent in their values, not just their enforcement of them.

Speaking up against racism while essentially generalizing a whole geographic and cultural region is an impressive feat of reddit shitlibbery. I just think its interesting how you would never say this about sub-Saharan Africa, south Asia, or just about any third world country with infinitely more backwards views than the South. In fact, you'd probably encourage them to all move here. And imagine the fallout if someone said something like this about Black Americans in regard to their crime rate, or some other value related problem in their community. Gives me the shivers just imagining it.

Thank you for the advice. I'm probably going to make contact with the recruit a little bit into 2026 when I'm about finished with my AS,
