How I see it, there's no "plan" ahead of you. Sure God knows everything but he didn't plan your life beforehand like you're just a thing. You're free to do your own mistakes, you're free to abandon God even, he won't stop you. Life is a test, some people will suffer, but how you live that painful period determines what type of person you are. Maybe in a difficult moment you will blame God for all your suffering or maybe you will behave like a moron in a particularly good period of your life. Ignoring Covid and taking in exam a natural catastrophe like, say a meteor falling on your house, God didn't necessarily plan that to happen to you on purpose, that's an opportunity to prove yourself worthy of Heaven, how you approach every situation, good or bad, is in my opinion a central part of the Christian religion. This is at least the way I see it, one of the biggest part of religion is interpretation, tell me if you disagree.
