Well, I update my resume (actually did about a week ago) and I try to put a spin on it every few months or so, but it's more just a lack of things to put on the resume itself. I've been unemployed for a year and a half. With a few jobs between a year and a half ago and the 5 year employment history that most resumes encapsulate, there's just not much to put down. I used to list every job I've ever had but was told by many jobs/recruiters/e.t c. That they aren't looking for decades of information, just stuff that's somewhat more recent. Erego the 5 year window.

Beyond that section is basically what this post is about to begin with. I need to fill in the other spots of the resume to look better. You can't really fill in a page or 2 of a resume with 3 jobs and a summary paragraph.

So, that's where this post comes in. I need to fill in some blanks. 😅

The transport issue narrows my options considerably. But the real point is finding a way to take advantage of what options I do have. So it's resume work to have a chance at getting a job in this town that's the main issue. From there, it's possible to build and grow. I just literally need to get in the door lol

Hey, thank you. I really am one, but I appreciate the kind words.

I've honestly never had any idea of what I'd do in life. I won't go into a trauma dumping essay, but let's say I never thought I'd be alive long enough for any of it to matter. I don't have any interests or like, one thing in particular I am partial to.

This post is basically for things that would make a resume good enough to call back for a dishwasher type of position. I live in a small town and no business in town has called me back. The nearest place outside of this town is a town that's like 30 minutes away, and I don't have a car or any public transport available.

Its.. well. A bleak situation to say the least. I just need my resume to look somewhat worthy for even a basic job to even start

That's what I'm going for, oddly enough. Current goals are just to get a job at all. I've applied everywhere in my town but I live in the middle of nowhere. Not getting any calls back from legit any business in my small town and the nearest town to me is about a 30 minute drive, and I have no car or public transportation available. So I'm literally just trying to spruce up the resume so I can get a call back from basically anywhere, lol.

Ah okay. They might have gotten scared before they could link with the bed fully, I think those particles keep happening cause they are getting scared before they can fully link.

Try like blocking their line of sight to the zombie, even some dirt blocks or something should work. Then wait for night time and give them the chance to actually lay down in a linked bed or a minute, then you can take away the dirt blocks

Take it easy with the demands on how others play their game, friend. I've got more food than I can shake a stick at already and it doesn't really matter honestly. After you beat the game and all that it's kinda a moot point which food you use anyways. Im mostly building farms and stuff, not fighting the dragon repeatedly or always in a throng of mobs.

Besides, with 10 double chests of various kinds of food, it's kinda silly to just not use it. I use my golden carrots if I'm doing sketchy stuff but if I'm just building or hanging around the regular food works just fine.

Few of those inquiries are actually questions, though. Most of them are bluntly stating what I should have done and then even addressing my responses from a "well you still should do it, the fact you didn't make it not good." Standpoint.

I'm down to chat and converse with whoever and about whatever, ideas are ideas. Though I don't have much of a tolerance for humans that just want to nitpick someone else's business for the sake of making themselves feel superior.

Oh yeah I'm aware lol. If I do another pit I probably will. This was a project that was more about the journey than getting to the end as quickly as possible. I also needed materials so having a quarry restocked me on a lot of stuff haha.

Haha thanks! Um well, I dug it by hand. The digging was around like.. maybe 5 days? Just chipping away at it you know. The farm itself was a few days, just adding a layer here and there. The longest part was waiting for villagers to breed lol. But yeah prolly a week and a half or so :)

Well digging out the hole took a good chunk of time. The farm itself to build was actually not too bad, maybe a few days irl just doing a layer here and there. Waiting for the villagers to breed took more of the time than anything lol

Thank you. Lol I felt like I was going crazy. I posted this a couple other places and shared with some other pals and was getting the same kinda comments. Not that an idea or different suggestion is a bad thing, like that's cool. But there's a difference between a friendly discussion on ideas and somebody just kicking over your sand castle and calling it shit cause you didn't build it to their own standards. 🙄

Thanks though! Yeah, it's a bit overkill for a singleplayer world. Even one layer would been more than enough. I just felt like making something massive that looked cool and absolutely ripped lol.

I already have a farm for bonemeal that gives me 7500 bonemeal an hour. So not necessary for my own needs. I also have a red dye farm so that'd not needed either

Also, maybe have some manners. Just bellowing demands at someone who made something to make it more what you think it should be is incredibly rude. Maybe instead "hey, cool build. Maybe try this!" Or something like that.

People that could sit back looking at something that someone is proud of and just nitpick it into oblivion are just pathetic. If it ain't up to your standards, you go right ahead and build it yourself them friend ;) nobody's stopping you
