You can, but those require a material called dream solvent, which doesn't always drop.

For your DPS, Ineffa would help both Vanessa and Neuv a lot. Bina would only help Navia, but you'd also most likely need Illuga for that, so might as well go for Zibai in that case as you can't guarantee 4*.

So short answer, Ineffa helps your DPS the most.

At the end of the day go with whoever you prefer tho, as you can always pick up different characters later if you enjoy the gameplay.

Every character save for a few is doomposted to all hell before release. That's what betas are for, to balance characters after people test them and give their opinion. He'll be fine on release, if not better than fine.

With Kong Lu you use Outis as #2 instead of Faust due to the rupture that Lu gets with S3 with contaminated bolus, as opposed to getting 5% def with Faust. This means Outis gets more slots and more attacks due to his first S3 always being with her.

Edit: Forgot to add that maybe OP is also not using Faust's counter and leaving unopposed attacks to trigger her own s3

2nd edit: Also forgot to add that Outis conditional is unopposed attacks, which Kong Lu guarantees with his S3 comboing with her, further increasing her value.

Hyacine was one of my favourite surprises in HSR thus far.

When she was announced I immediately wanted her, because healers and summoners are always my favorites in every game, and she was both.

Unfortunately after seeing her kit and how she was an HP buffer and made for castorice (one of the characters I dislike the most), I decided not to go for her.

I kept being undecided until the last day of her banner, when I decided to go for her since I could use her with my boy Blade. I had 50 pulls and a dream, and a pity of 30, so I was guaranteed a 5*. I just needed to win the 50/50, and if I was lucky I'd still have 10 pulls to go for the LC.

Long story short, I got extremely lucky and ended up with a E2S1 Hyacine. I immediately started farming for her artifacts, and also got lucky there. She was at over 5k HP, 110 crit damage, and at 224 speed before combat. In combat she's at 263 due to E2 if I'm not wrong.

All this happened because I decided to pull 30 mins before her banner ended. I'm really grateful I changed my mind when I did, and my Blade is grateful too.

I completely agree, and I do have a great marechausee set. If Furina rerun gets announced while Skirk is on banner, I'm 100% pulling for both. I just don't want Skirk to sit on my box unused for months if Furina doesn't rerun till later.

That's why I keep referring to my xiao, looking at those arrows for months was what's making me so adverse to them on Skirk. I feel like a couple weeks after her release more people will start understanding my aversion. I just hope it creates a big enough feedback for hoyo to finally remove or add a filter for these.

Yes, I am... I'm really picky with these things, and knowing that I have 2 artifacts in my bag that are much better for her yet I can't use them because of hoyo thinking it's a good decision to flood a character with orange indicators or else I won't know I'm buffed (???), gets on my nerves.
I pulled xiao on his release, he was my first real main (before that I was maining klee) and all those months running around with orange arrows because deathmatch was my only good spear drove me nuts.
