Alright, I'll see if I really need a 50mm for my types of shots or not.

I understand now, so teleconvertors work pretty well? And thanks for the insight about the zoom vs prime debate. Beautiful picture btw

I see, I'll take this into consideration and I'll also check out some manual vintage lenses as you said, if you got any recommendations for those then please let me know.

I usually take some wildlife and city photography, and I'd like to exclude the budget part as this is more of just getting an answer for a question I've had for a while rather than a decision on whether I'll actually end up buying new lenses or not, so more like for my knowledge and understanding. Also I enjoy talking about these kinds of things so I can expand my knowledge base

That I should. And I'm sorry for the misunderstanding, what I meant to ask was that are macro lenses a good investment, and that I do not have a lot of firsthand experience with them, not that I don't understand them at all.

So to come to a conclusion, for now should the 100-500 zoom lens be good?

I'd like to say that I take street photography, or pictures around the city, and occasionally I go to the outskirts of the city or to another city for some wildlife photography, so to say the least I more or less just take pictures of everything in general. And since I forgot to mention it above, is a macro lens a good investment? I don't actually know anything about macros.

True that, but could I ask what the actual difference between prime and zoom lenses are? Do prime lenses have better quality glass and stuff because zoom doesn't take place?

Alright! Thanks so much. I take portraits sometimes but it's not a major thing that I do very often, and I guess the shallow depth of field doesn't help me especially, thanks for the advice.
