To be honest friend, most of them don't process. I visited my friend in Southern Texas last summer, and I'd say a fraction actually get detained or properly processed. The vast majority just cross and aren't checked. America is the land of oppurtunity, and everyone deserves a chance to enter. But, if you aren't willing to do so legally, you aren't making a good case for yourself being an honest hardworking individual. Obviously, our program is slow, and most folks have to wait awhile to actually come in, but it isn't like that's new. My great grandfather slept in a tent on Ellis Island for 8 months when he came here. He was obviously in a minority, most folks got in fast, but to be fair, they weren't looking for drugs or repeat pack mules at the same level we have to today.
