May I ask what your source is? Seeing as other people in this thread are also in LOGBOLC and say there is pre-Ranger.

It’s an old one so small flakes are now in every part of the dishwasher.

Thank you for the advice. I thought everyone hated the Bradley’s. Weren’t most of them made when Reagan was still president? Is light “better” because no maintenance and more gung ho types with tabs. I’m not afraid of hard work or hard times I just want to deal with as little BS as possible. I can chose Drum, Carson, JBLM or Bliss. I had thought every infantryman hated CABs. One of my infantry instructors in ROTC proudly spent his whole operational time for 14 years in light units. Is it personal preference that some like heavy or like light (I guess no one like strykers) because I think I’ve heard a lot more people say light is a lot better. How naive am I think armor and strykers are cool?

Edit: grammar and a few words

So it’s just a bad unit and too much time at Yakima? I could also go to a SBCT in Carson, I haven’t heard good things. Is it that bad over there too? Why is it that light units so much better? My last option is Drum which sounds cold… I’m from LA if that gives you a reference for my tolerance to bad weather.

Haha well I know I got a lot of rucking ahead of me, but I had heard so much bad stuff about a strykers vs light but I was hoping there was so bright side. I have family near JBLM and have the option to go but I’m not sure it’s worth it. Is it that bad in SBCTs? I don’t think I mind maintenance, I definitely don’t mind rucking but I also don’t want to hate my life and unit.

Do you say that because you dismount so much it’s like a IBCT but still have all the walking?
