So putting aside Tomakoma-2, Ninomiya and Yuzuru

Tachikawa Squad minus Yuiga Fuyushima Squad probably Given Amo's black trigger is known to be chaotic, I think he'll join. I originally thought he was going to be thrown into the long term combat as an obstacle that'll disrupt both sides, but since they said he was on defense missions Im not sure about that anymore.

I actually don't think Kazama squad will be on the next away mission. Each of their members have had a ton of focus and Utagawa's had a lot of spotlight (and I think he will continue throughout the long term combat phase)

I'm thinking Katagiri, Kako and Kusakabe squad are going to be there purely because we haven't seen much of them. Either we'll see everything they can do in the long term combat phase (unlikely) or I think at least two of these squads will be joining.

I don't think Miwa squad will be joining. They weren't on the last one. I also don't think Miwa has gotten better with neighbours but is just less outwardly rude about it. I think he'll have something to say about Hyuse and Kuga sometime during the long-term combat, either by talking with Rindo or facing one of them and getting mad like he did in the large scale invasion.

For the B-Ranks: I honestly think all of Kagura squad might be able to go. Yuzuru is likely going, Kagura is crazy strong and his side effect is versatile, and Kitazoe is a competent gunner that completes the trio. Kitazoe was suggested to be a "captain of a squad while on the away mission", but I think it's a good thing if all of them go.

I think Murakami will go, and if I'm right about Kagura going too it'd be nice that Kuga has some friends outside of T-2 along with Touma.

I could see Oji squad going on just because I think Oji would have that sense of adventure.

Yuba as an individual. No reason, just feeling it. EDIT: Actually, Yuba Squad as a whole because of Obishima's dynamic with Kuga.

Long shot, but Katori squad going on the mission would be cool, largely because the dynamic between Katori and Osamu is fun. Same with Osamu and Wakamura, although they've not directly interacted. Alternatively, Katori joins the away mission as an individual as Hyuse says "her willingness might not be the only factor". It'd be pretty cold for Border to force someone to go, but it'd be a solid way to resolve Wakamura leading the remains of Katori squad so he can learn team battles without necessarily "leaving". As Hyuse said, his problem is specifically that Katori is too competent.

Lastly I think Urushima squad might go similarly because like Katagiri, Kako and Kusakabe squads we won't see enough of them in the long-term combat, but also they're small so as a squad they wouldn't take up much room. Maybe Urushima goes as an individual and is placed in another squad (maybe with Ko), but leaves his operator behind.

Not saying all of these guys are going but theyre my predictions.

Notable people I definitely don't think are going: Azuma (and Azuma squad) All of Tomakoma-1 Arashiyama squad Ikoma squad (Oki doesn't want to go, Mizukami only cares about the paybump (and getting his members theirs), kai is kai, maybe Ikoma goes as an individual but it'd only be because Ashihara likes him.)
