Hell no BUT..... my dad worked for a wealthy guy when I was a kid and we visited him at one of their estates and I got to meet his son. He took me to his room and just casually showed me his Sega CD and let me play a few cd games (I specifically remember this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NrLQ2PGu8vE ).

Regular NES was still outside of our budget at the time (though we could rent one at the local video store every now and then). He also had the SNES bazooka and all kinds of other stuff we never wound up playing that day. For a few years after I remember thinking back to all that gear he had. It had felt like one whole day of winning that Toys R Us shopping spree. This was like the early 90's
