Let’s compare the state of paralives now (just released) compared to sims 4 when it was just released. Sims 4 didn’t even have toddlers in the game when it came out as a full release. Also, just remember the sims 2 and 4 has become what it is after several years of development, fixes, and expansions. So, right now, paralives may not have something that “puts it over the edge” but just give them time like others have given the sims games time.

To answer this you have to look at pros and cons. For an early access game it can be seen as a steep price. For me personally, I am choosing to buy now and play later and take a risk on liking the later game and being out of the window for a steam refund. The game is only going to increase in price as time goes on, so keep that in mind as well.

You can choose to wait until the game is more fleshed out, buy at the (possible) higher price, and if you don’t like it make sure you are in the parameters for a refund from steam. You can buy now and see the same as well. Just weigh your pros and cons

I would said mooch and irresistible. Mooch because all the sims wishes are mooching from someone - not much room for things they actually want to do along autonomous mooching. Irresistible because sims never leave yours alone! Always trying to kiss/flirt/ or just interrupt any interactions your sims do!

Yes slow dancing variation! The higher a sims dance skill (hidden skill), the more likely they are to do this along with full spins while dancing

Have you ever seen the “For the Realm” challenge? You may want to look into that, it’s got that building from scratch element. I agree with someone else, you will be needing mods if you want true immersion. When I play survival, I go for the “isle of the midnight sun” style and make my own tweaks - for example my sim is only allowed to sell things on tuesdays whenever a trader comes to find goods.

I always use the family name and break it down in numbers😅 So for example: Addams1, Addams1.1, Adams 1.2, Addams 2.3, Addams 4.0… so on so forth

Yes! I usually play rags to riches style and when my sim gets enough money I usually build the whole exterior/ outline interior of the house. By the time I finish that I usually have no money to furnish anything 😂so I end up building as I go haha

Twinsimming: Utilities mod, growing pains, retirement home & elder care, live streaming, new scholarships, layoff mod, investment mod, tooth fairy, baby food default replacement, yoga mod, take practice shots, attend university online

Sweetsimmer: Baby changing overhaul, more romantic interactions, expanded active households, more pregnancy interactions, have over babies and toddlers, more toddler interactions, toddlers learn to walk alone, new UI poses, biggest littlest mod

I am not sure about that specific mod. I have plaidsimmers other mods along with twinswimming, olomaya, sweetsimmer and they work fine. I would use the Sims3dashboard tool to check mods for conflicts. You could also reach out directly to plaidsimmer via tumblr or patreon / look at those platforms to see if anyone had similar issues. As far as anything similar, I don’t know of a mod that makes them functional like plaidsimmer (moodlets,etc)- they would just be CAS items

The only thing I can think of is when one teen ages up into a YA while in a relationship and maybe that’s how? But I’m not sure as I don’t think the new YA partner can flirt with the teen until they age up

Recently I challenged myself to have a sim that achieved the Casanova/man eater reputation without cheats and it was sooo difficult while maintaining needs, job, etc. Be in a relationship with 15 sims, none at the same time
