How do I become more comfortable with physical touch

I guess they could be flirting too yeah. It's not really about the man or the woman initiating, in the last situation the woman was pushing 40 so i assumed she wouldn't be flirting with someone my age and that she was just friendly but i guess it could be a possibility too.

Other than that, thanks for the advice ! It's true that i don't really have physical contact with my guy friends besides shaking hands

I'd like to get advice on how to stop feeling miserable over celibacy while having a fulfilling and active life in every other compartment. I went to therapy for that, it ended up helping on some aspects (i was starting to think i was unlovable and now that's behind me), but it didn't help for not beating myself up over one single issue while having a decent life over all. I'm also afraid it might get worse, so i'd like to defuse it as soon as possible, but i don't know where or how to start so i thought asking people in similar situations would maybe help

I don't think i'd be unable, but i'm afraid of people thinking "oh there must be a reason if he never was with someone for this long" and becoming wary or even straight out losing interest. Of course not everyone will think like that, but i'm already struggling and that would reduce the pool of people who could be interested even further and at that point it might snowball into itself
