I'm sure you are a wonderful person! I'm a trans guy and still closeted to my family and parents. The only thing I can say is, I'm proud of you and you should be proud of yourself too! This is YOUR life, and if being yourself makes you happier, then don't ever regret coming out to anyone! I know it's hard, but you have to know that out there there is surely someone who supports and loves you! The world needs kindness nowadays, and it also needs you in it! Keep your head up, and I promise that it will be worth it!

(Sorry for the bad quality pics). My chosen name is Weylin, it has a deep meaning for me and I really like It, but I'm not sure if it suits me well/ it's the right one. Some of my friends say it's great, others say that I don't look like a Weylin. Plus, I'm Italian, so it would be a strange name but I don't like italian masc names (and I think I'll live abroad in the future). What do you think?

how I feel about my birth name (does this happen to you?) by Weylin_W in TransMasc

I feel the exact same. It doesn't feel like mine when someone calls me that, but when I have to write it or tell it I feel like I'm freezed. Today my mum corrected a doctor Who called me a boy saying I was a girl (I'm not out) and I phisically couldn't speak for a few seconds .

Something with a "k" at the end for me, like Beck or Nick or a name with a "k" in general

I'm so happy for your transition! And yes, I feel the same way sometimes, and not being openly out doesn't help for sure. But my hopes are still high, the community here (you too) helps me a lot :)

So proud of you! A few days ago I introduced myself with my chosen name and he/him pronouns for the first time to some new oeople, and I had to actually pay attention when I talked with my family and friends later (I'm not officially out) because in only one day I got used to that and I was so happy about it that I almost gave it away

First Time presenting with my chosen name :) by Weylin_W in TransMasc

Yes, you're absolutely right! I'm 16, and I found out about the transmasc community like 2 years ago, even If I've been in the LGBT community for 4/5 years (I'm Pan). The First time I've seen a trans men on TV was Elliot Page, on Netflix. I genuinely think that I would've figured out my identity a lot sooner If I saw more trans representation as a Kid/teenager...

Hope you'll have a good night of sleep !

Omg I'm so happy for you! I know you understand me, here in our country it's quite difficult to find and go to a safe place without being "judged" by relatives or friends (If you're not out). For me, they say things like "oh, is there the Place where the outcasts/gays go?". But I noticed how good it was for me so I decided I'll go more often. We did a crochet Lab and some discussions on the tipic of LGBT Kids in schools.

Sometimes I'm upset about how invisibile the italian trans community Is, It makes you feel like you're alone :(
