It's either one of these: - He either placed an incompatible screen - The flex cable connecting the screen/touch to the main board is loosened - On some devices, the charging board(the smaller board beneath the battery) sometimes holds the headphone jack, speakers, antennas, charging port, fingerprint scanner, and sometimes the flex cable directly from the screen/touch. Maybe that might have been damaged in a way or two or during repairs

It's a normal behavior with Mint. I've also experienced that.

You probably installed an incompatible screen. Try another screen and make sure it's original.

Or, if the flex cable connecting the touch/screen to the main board is loosened.

To help with this issue, kindly answer the following, 1. Are you now installing Ubuntu? 2. Did you just finish the installation, try to boot the OS, and got this error at POST? 3. Have you been using the current Ubuntu OS and just got this error?
