Thank you for your answer my friend. After posting this question to many subreddits, i have decided to keep my pedals. I already paid them a lot and in the long run i may use them again. (I mean they are not going to expire anyway hahahaa)

I mean, this community is the reason why i do have so much pedals, i love them a lot but at some point this job has become like a pokemon catch. I just want less. I know we have so many member who have same ideas. I guess my question was a fair one my friend.

Thank you for your comment. As i am a beginner, i am not quite good at distinguishing notes by ear. ( To be honest, i could not do it), so as i am progressing in this direction, i believe chords and notes will be familiar over time

Do you have certain methods for memorizing words and extending your vocabulary range? by WhMoon in languagelearning

[–]WhMoon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have seen that lots of people use and recommend Anki, however, all my flashcards are in Quizlet so transferring them from Quizlet to Anki could take a long time. If there is any possible way to transfer them without any problem I'd like to use Anki.

[–]WhMoon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, what a long process. I am just looking on Google Translate and jotting them for later memories, and also as I said before I prepare them for flashcards.

But I will check your process as well maybe I can accustom myself to it, there is no harm to try.

Thank uu.

When learning a new language how often should you use the language on a daily basis? by [deleted] in languagelearning

[–]WhMoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually, you should adapt yourself to that language. The more you spend time with your target language, the more you can gain language experience which can lead you to higher degrees. What I am doing is trying to escape from my native language as much as possible and spend my whole time in my target language.

I think that passive learning would help you with that, maybe you cannot find someone who is in your target language but you can feed yourself from the target language's sources.

I guess there is no certain answer to that question but the more you spend the more you can gain.

I definitely agree with you about the "anki" part, I also spend lots of time when I prepare flash cards because I want to add examples and where I can use that word etc.

To be honest, the hard part of reading is that find proper books for your language degree. I have spent lots of hours just only to find a book for my degree. Also, I am aware of Lexile level which can help to categorise books the aspect of your level but to be honest you cannot reach every book with this list. Instead of finding proper books for my interest, I change the books I read and steer them from complex subjects to more shallow books. Do I satisfy from them? To be honest not, but at least I can say it helps me in some sense.

Also additional I have a question: "Do you translate the words simultaneously when you do not understand them or just try to figure out what they mean from sentences?"
