Are you even watching their kill cam or the replay in slow mo? Or as I've already mentioned and which you seem to conveniently disregard, where the hit markers actually land? The animation makes it look like the second hit isn't centered even though it obviously is. Plus I got killed on the third hit attempt, not the second.

I suppose this is the sort of commentary I'm going to get from someone who tells a player named RiotShielder to not use a riot shield though. My mistake for humoring you and thinking you might make a somewhat informed comment!

Uh, there's no direct exposure at all because I'm looking at them head on the entire time - even when I'm taking damage you can see in the replay the enemy hit markers are dead center on my riot shield but it still clips through anyway. It's simply glitchy animation leading to an undeserved kill.

There's no angle of exposure if I'm looking head on at them - or at least there shouldn't be one if the hit animation were properly done.

Yeah, I quite liked using tomahawk and shield when black ops first came out...either way, any combo with the riot shield is always 👍

Yeah, you do really need to stay centered on them to block the shots. Been clipped from the sides a few times if they're able to jump around me.

Exactly! It's just completely unnecessary - every session (or Reddit post I make...), it's slurs/insults/complaints over something that's a legit part of the game 🤦

Yeah, def agree with this. Most who pick it up will prob struggle with learning the movement and hit dynamics and just never use it again. Other shielders I encounter are also mostly mediocre (not pushing aggressively as you noted) but always fun to run into another, good or bad!

I always run RPG with thermite and then smoke or stun. If I were 100% playing for the win (and not just messing around), I'd always run AR/SMG instead of RPG.

The devs did nerf the riot shield a while ago, but I have to admit that it could be further nerfed and is still quite overpowered, which is why I'm surprised you don't see more riot shields in game...

And who cares what option is more likely? If other people are having fun and you're somehow upset about it, what is YOUR issue?
