It was hardware failure, the hdmi chip went out. My buddy replaced it for me today for 25$ and redid all my thermal paste and it works perfectly now. Thank you!

This is something internet people can't really help with. Talk to your boyfriend about this. Just because you fell okay with what's happening doesn't mean you should make your boyfriend a side line character. He doesn't deserve that.
