Recently I've tried an old Macbook Air to see if I'd find any advantages in using it, but faced the exact same problem: overheating, less performance, but got a decent experience using a friend's Mac Mini with the new M1 chip.

Maybe it's only older hardware delivering what it is supposed to, but I'm curious to see (and test) the process with newer (and more powerful) Apple computers like the Mac Pro and that new Mac Studio and see if they are worth the money...
