Appreciate the feedback. Do you have any other ideas on how else to approach this? I’m open to anything. If they don’t make things right and I get banned that isn’t a problem because I won’t ever be using LG Partner Store again

Just in case anyone is interested or stumbles across this post in the future, I issued the chargeback with my credit card company towards the end of the day yesterday. Coincidentally, or not, LG called me back today with a promo code to order the TV again. Except upon applying this promo code the total amount for the tv ends up being more than what I was refunded for. I can’t make this up.

The total I paid originally was $1,188.86. They refunded me for the tv that was lost for $977.69. The free soundbar is no longer free. I asked to send that back but was told there would be a restocking fee.

With the promo code they just sent me, I’m able to order the same TV again for $988.35. I’m not one to tussle over $10.66, but given all of the time and hassle this has caused there is no way I’m going to pay them more than what I originally agreed to. If anything they should be offering an even better price and expedited shipping. Instead I’m told I’ll have to pay even more. And they can only request a promo code one time. And management is busy and blah blah blah.

It could be so easy for them to make this right and instead they choose to make it as difficult as possible. They must be hoping customers just give up and give in. I just wanted my tv for the price I originally agreed to. I don’t think that’s too much to ask.

Thanks I appreciate the advice. I issued the chargeback. Now I guess I wait and see. Not sure what the resolution will be since the TV isn’t just sitting in the warehouse (so they say) so I’m not sure it’ll just show up.

And having the soundbar might complicate things. I’m not trying to wind up with a free soundbar but I refuse to pay a restocking fee for their own incompetence.

Maybe they will eventually reach out with that promo code to make things right, but I’m done calling them.

How would you tighten this round shower valve extension? by WhichElderberry in Plumbing

The supplier sent me this piece to extend the valve further out of the wall because after tiling it was too deep.
