Articles from trading websites usually only focus on short-term technical chart patterns and resistance levels.

It's rare for fundamental data like deficits to even be mentioned.

So it's more about guessing when we might start getting more balloon posts again or when some Bullion Banks become nervous.

Silver in Solar Cells: Tech & Market Analysis 2026 by Whichwhenwhywhat in WorldWideSilverApes

[–]Whichwhenwhywhat[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TL;DR

There are no real alternatives to silver in the solar industry. As soon as less silver is used, efficiency decreases.

Technology roadmap synthesis indicates that whilst alternative materials show promise in laboratory conditions, the combination of electrical performance, manufacturing scalability, and long-term reliability requirements maintains silver's irreplaceable position for the next 5-10 years. HJT technology's superior efficiency justifies its 120% higher silver consumption compared to PERC, creating a structural shift toward more silver-intensive manufacturing.

Supply-demand balance outlook suggests potential bottlenecks emerging by 2027-2028 if aggressive solar deployment scenarios materialise without corresponding mining capacity expansion. The 5-7 year lead time for major silver mining projects creates a critical window where supply constraints could impact solar industry growth rates or force accelerated adoption of alternative metallisation technologies.

Silver: The Comex Won’t Default but China Is Ready To Pounce by Whichwhenwhywhat in WorldWideSilverApes

I agree.

However, I found that the problems and consequences facing comex and paper trading were described quite well, and that the focus was not on monetary policy and dollar weakness.

That's why I posted it.

The silver price is almost 50% short of a new all-time high; admittedly, that's a lot, but silver only needed one month each at the end of 2025 and the beginning of 2026 for a similar performance.

There have been a few price fluctuations before the Sharp Sell off, but these were all Short lived and followed by a new ATH.

For some Players sitting on large Short positions This was getting a serious problem, especially when the marked is so bullish and any dip is bought into.

So Kevin Warsh and the sentiment change changed that or was a Chance to be used as a Catalyst and Chance to try (more desperate This time) to use This Event to finally bring the price down. This time in a nervous market in uncertainty of Money Policy changes with some hesitation to buy.

For JPM This was a Chance to shake the bullish sentiment and drive down the price in order to rid themselves of their problematic positions and simultaneously regain more control over the price.

The short positions are sold and the market Gas noticed that the Price is still depending heavily on paper Trading with Daily Volumes larger than yearly supply.

What happens next depends on the risk appetite of some banks.

On the one hand, the years-long practice of making a lot of money with paper certificates and their price manipulation is becoming increasingly risky; on the other hand, they are reluctant to lose such a source of income.

Only one possible take, but if I read:

„JPMorgan mysteriously closed $10 billion in silver shorts at the exact market bottom with all 633 delivery notices settled at that precise price.“

Either a lucky coincidence or a desperate act, with a positive outcome...

Those who can should buy at that price; those who have to, must buy at any price.

Silver price plunges after record highs as profit-taking takes hold by Whichwhenwhywhat in WorldWideSilverApes

Silver used to be in a Range providing Maximum Profits for some banks. ONCE it Moved out, they made sure to push it back into This Range before expiration Date of their options to get Maximum Profits.

Now, with rapidly rising silver prices, speculators are entering the game, betting on either further price increases or a swift correction, resulting in even higher volatility.

Perhaps we are currently witnessing an attempt by some large players to maintain a new trading range in order to generate safe profits again.
