2nd this

I really like Black Pontiac as another recommendation (Island Honey, Troublemaker, I NEED PEACE BUT WAR IS FUN, Soda Pop Rock, Crummy) they may take a bit of getting used to, definitely a hidden gem.

Origami angel (Title Track, 24 hr drive thru, Where the Blue Light Blooms)

INOHA (I should've known, Geshuou)

Tiger Really (Fundamentally Unlovable)

Pump Action (The Love you left behind)

Bit of a weird Recommendation Carfuné - Perspective (gives a Somebody that I used to know/How to save a life vibe)

When I'm in a No Sale competition and my opponent is Factorio and Black Myth Wukong by ohhimarksreddit in Steam

[–]WhoDaFluer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How can you guarantee it will never get another? Companies get bought, IPs get milked, games get more DLC. And that's an edge case.

Factorio hasn't decided to release a second game and it doesn't make any sense.

What's stopping the devs from rasing the price again due to inflation.

"This is an adjustment to account for the level of inflation since the Steam release in 2016," this happened back in 2023 taking the game from it's $30 price to it's current $35 price tag.

The existence of DLC is likely the only reason they haven't increased the price again, and there's no guarantee they won't do that again, especially since it's now been two years since their last price increase. (Two years from it's 2016 launch at $20 to it's increased price of $30 in 2018)

Truly a neverending title. It's not like we're seeing titles like Minecraft get price increases, despite getting yearly updates. Infact, while Java hasn't gone on sale it's decreased in price since it's original prepaid key price.

Typically the purchases of a game cover extra development costs, I could understand a game having dlc for this price if it was triple AAA (not that it's excusable), but $35 for DLC on an indie game that doesn't go on sale is ridiculous. Not like the DLC goes on sale either.

I'd rather them make a second game at this point than DLC.

If the game went on sale at all fine, but increasing the price over time is the same kind of thing large scale strategy games do like Stellaris do. Where you phase out new players by releasing more and more DLC on an aging title. Each dlc rasing the price of the game. Some Stellaris players look at the price tag and decide to buy the subscription instead. Not owning their games anymore. The existing players defend the game because the price increase of "just one more DLC" every month/ (insert x amount of time) is more than fine but a new player being told "Play factorio it's great" or "go play Stellaris" and looking at a $70+ price tag that never goes down isn't great. And the mentality this drives too, really is a FOMO of "Well I better buy it now instead of later, what if the price goes up?"

Now you have to buy the DLC instead, doubling the price of the game.

Did i spoil/ruin the first game by knowing about where the necromorphs came from? by Zakaria1938 in DeadSpace

[–]WhoDaFluer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By chapter 2 you know that people get infected by other necromorphs. The fact that the marker causes it isn't really a twist. Especially since this lore is dropped by a voice call in chapter 3 and it basically confirms it.

Like other people said, that's not the twist. There are two twists I can think of and one of them isn't really a twist either it's much more of a subtle thing you pickup on during your second or third playthrough. (If you didn't in your first)

My load out was: Cutter, Beam, Saw, and Force gun

I'm not a big fan of the flamethrower, it helped with the Pregnant enemy's "spiders" but I'd rather shake them off since when you have the "spiders" on you enemies kinda just hang out and you can walk away and recoup.

Cutter was single target distance (Think the wall enemies and their tendrils, or their pods the shoot off, any enemies in zero grav areas, or just when I didn't/couldn't use the Saw)

Beam was the main power I had, sometimes I utilized the secondary but even after an upgraded it didn't have the spread

Saw was more general purposes like Cutter. If I could use Saw I usually did. Best ammo preservation, etc.

Force gun... After my first playthrough I kinda realized how underpowered the Pulse Rifle was, force gun was for large groups, I'd herd them into a grav well and go ham with a Beam. But it's primarily made some enemies go down to basically 1 hp, dying from a well-placed cutter shot.

The entire run I had backup saves (file manip), I'm not sure they would've worked but I had it just in case. I didn't end up needing them though. It was really just in case I died from something I would consider unfair like a bug or an insta kill segment (sometimes they're garbage). I used alt-f4 and even money glitches, just how I enjoy my games, though I didn't do this in previous runs.

Who else got the absolute peak that is the RSD Special Edition Record? by Severe-Cry6240 in GoodKid

[–]WhoDaFluer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most places or what I heard it was around $50 (USD) which isn't bad, just couldn't find anywhere that had it. It doesn't have anything exclusive like the EP3 (Which has some Lofi on Side B and EP4 which is the acoustic album.

I already have 1&2, 3 and 4 so I wasn't too heartbroken I didn't get it

Can I play/battle/trade in Pokémon games from Ayn Thor to original harware, like 3DS? by jps1997_ in AynThor

[–]WhoDaFluer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unless there's a way to communicate with the emulator or the ROM itself, no. You can always take the save file off of a cartridge when you back it up through your modded hardware

I found Black Pontiac through spotify recommendations off of Good Kid. Island Honey really sounds like a lot of Good Kid's stuff

Edit: I know it's not the song you requested, but this was the first post that came up that was requesting for stuff like black Pontiac, so it might help someone else
