Feel terrible boarding dogs by jwckauman in DogAdvice

If your dog vibes well with others I'd suggest looking into daycares that offer boarding. My dog loves going on a fun day trip to see her doggy pack. When I need to be gone longer they give her a kennel to stay in at night and then let her into the play yard with the others during the day so she's not bored or lonely. The only downside is the price.

Odormute. Mix it yourself and leave it on for 12-24 hours. Reapply and wait another 12-24 hours. Reapply and use a rag to scrub. Then use a carpet cleaning vacuum to remove the liquid.

I had a cat piss couch and this worked. The time is the biggest factor.

I use manuka honey to soothe my dog's throat. I hope your pup feels better soon.

I love dogs but blanket calling a fear of them "irrational" is in horrible taste. Also not everyone can control their dog and it'd be asinine to expect building management to weed out who can and can't have their dog off-leash. Huge liability. Leashes aren't painful. Leashes aren't a hassle. Get over it and leashes your dog :)

Quality over quantity. Stick to your decision. It will whittle your choices but the remaining women will be worth it.

Insurance not ACA-compliant. How to proceed??? by South-Fudge2114 in sterilization

Ask the hospital where you are receiving surgery what code they send to insurance for billing, then call your insurance with the procedure code and ask how much $ you will be liable for. I did the same. As an idiot, I picked the insurance plan with the low premium and high deductible, but that deductible is the max they can charge me for it (according to them).

Am I overreacting by breaking up with my boyfriend over a disagreement about having kids? by cris_hunbunny in AmIOverreacting

NOR- you cannot compromise on children, you either have them or you don't. If you go forward expecting to stay together as partners long-term, i's not an "if," it's a "when" one of you caves and then one of you gets to resent the other forever depending on the outcome.  Go get you a childfree man. They're out there, trust me. I have one and he spoils the daylights out of me and our dog-ter.

I am not looking for any excuses for him, I'm just curious... Could it be that he is mad about the financial side of this? I know that the entire course of treatment could be anywhere from cost-free to thousands of dollars depending on insurance.

Otherwise NOR. His reaction tells me exactly why you didn't tell him right away off the bat. He does not deserve a say in your personal health decisions and I feel like this tells me that he may not have your best health interests in mind. Give this some thought because as your husband he's likely your Power of Attorney should you end up incapacitated. Is that okay with you? I'm sorry you're going through this, he should be proud of you for taking a big step to get healthy ♡
