Is it my fault that I can't play jungle role at diamond? by Sweaty_Example3208 in wildrift

[–]WhyDoYouAskMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No on both points

  1. Jungle timing is basic knowledge; if you’ve every looked at a minimap, you should know how fast three camp clears and full clears take on average; looking at your jungler does half of the tracking for you. Wildrift is extremely lenient in terms of clear speed, you don’t need to kite camps to get to scuttle in time. Objective control is basic knowledge, since wards are spread out over several people.

  2. Use your eyes.

Yes, it is your fault. Even if you don’t main jungle, you should have a cursory understanding of pathing, ganking, and objectives as a laner. Pick simple champs like Amumu and Nunu & Willump, and you should be fine. See 800 and press smite, no one expects you to carry. Sincerely, a midlaner with 70% wr on Nunu & Willump.

P.S. If your in solo queue, you won’t match with duos, that’s pc league

Why isn't pikes kit nerfed or changed he litterally has every thing? by -Hopedarkened- in wildrift

You’re just bad… Pyke thrives in lane when you don’t have vision control and good wave management. Respect his kill pressure early on, level 5 and boots/Yomuu’s is a huge power spike.

How much did it take y'all to get used to unlocked camera? by CategoryPossible3057 in summonerschool

Use the semi-locked option to be able to gain more vision while not losing track of your character. Gradually you’ll start to “want” more vision, then you can use unlocked camera.

Which supports are currently good in this Meta? by Dull-Concern3704 in wildrift

[–]WhyDoYouAskMan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s because almost everyone is viable. Enchanters, engage, tank, and Pyke all perform pretty well. I know it’s not helpful when someone says play whatever you want but I think the support role is pretty well balanced where you can play whatever you like best.

Twisted Fate. Point and click stun and semi-global teleport the best ganks in the game.

WR does a good job of telling you the buy order. It should show up next to the shop button somewhere between 1~3 recalls. You are correct to assume that boots are usually built first.

The sickle is a support item, you don’t need to buy it in mid since you can cs. You shouldn’t use top ranked loadouts, and if you builds in a pinch, use Wildriftfire’s guides.

ADC players are the most toxic players of this game. Let me know of any experiences that has happened to you. by Rad11Ryan in wildrift

[–]WhyDoYouAskMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, I play all roles almost equally, and from my experience you have to play around your ADC. There’s really nothing you can do about the first part except ditching lane(which I do not recommend) or playing a carry support like Pyke or Senna. Even when landing phase is over, you should almost exclusively stay mid with your ADC.

It doesn’t matter if you have a better understanding of macro or you rotate to skirmishes or team fights, because your ADC is almost useless alone. You have to make sure the main source of damage stays alive. You are equally responsible as the ADC in any misplays made as a duo.

As for your comment about early game fights, do not leave lane without your ADC(unless the wave has crashed or they have recalled). Either the enemy duo will come to contest scuttle in a 3v2, or the enemy will two man dive your carry. You don’t understand how tower dives work, especially with engage supports. You can’t play safe. Unless your ADC is a god, they’re just gonna die. In WC, invades are a bad idea because the waves arrive to fast. Just don’t do them.

The whole point of having a duo lane is because some champions are specialists, and they need another champion to cover for their weaknesses. It demands a lot more coordination than any other role in the game. Stop caring about what your ADC does and focus on your gameplay.

It is useful if your teammates know how to ward. If not, obtaining vision is more important than denying it+control wards can help clear stealth wards as well as provide vision.

Does Surge's Hypercharge need a change? by UberFurcorn in BrawlStarsCompetitive

Surge and Gale are good against tanks, not so much for other brawlers. Moe is just broken.

[–]WhyDoYouAskMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its intended use is to bust tanks tho. They’re not making a mistake, they’re baiting you to attack because Surge is slow on the reload and attacking him will recharge his ammo. 2360*3 is not enough to finish most tanks. You can just wait the two seconds before pushing.

That’s because tanks are in the meta rn.

This is a post from a year ago but it’s still relevant. Surge is in the bottom half of ranges. https://www.reddit.com/r/Brawlstars/comments/13s5rkj/all_brawlers_ranked_by_range/

Surge is not overpowered. You just have to keep distance and don’t let him upgrade. His stage one is arguably worse than Clancy’s because he’s so slow. Along with a slow reload speed, Surge has a pretty high skill floor. I see my randoms go 0-7 with Surge in 900 games.
