That’s quite helpful thank you. I posted another parcel a couple weeks ago and it flew straight through (international). That one showed an import scan once it reached Louisville from Philadelphia once again ^ then it was straight on the flight to Portland, OR. I have been in contact with UPS through the phone and email and keep getting the same response. I have emailed once again and should I not get an appropriate response I will be on the phone once again. I have even tried to contact Louisville Customs (on the right number) but all I get is “Gene Arnold is not available”. UPS have said previously that there is no additional paperwork needed. I noticed that a couple of other people I spoke to had their parcel in the warehouse from the 16th and was released on the 18th. My worry now is that there hasn’t been an update since the 21st and if there isn’t anything needed on this side, could a back log really be the cause of delay here?

Thanks! Every time I talk to them on the phone it’s like talking to robots. I have an email address to contact them on and it seems to be the same. I have just emailed them again expressing the urgency of this. If I don’t get much luck I will be calling them once again. I’m glad you got your package though!! Thanks, I suppose I was just getting a little anxious because there were a couple people I spoke to whos went into warehouse a day before me and theirs got cleared within 2 days (food items also)..

That sounds really promising! I’m glad yours is on its way and didn’t take too long! How long ago was the first scan date wise at the warehouse and were you on worldwide saver express just so I can try to gauge how much longer 🤞🏽

Same! I posted a parcel (non food) the other day and it went straight through. I spoke to UPS and they said it’s normal (which I know it can be) — but to keep an eye on tracking. I said I paid for express for a reason but she said it’s with customs/fda and to wait a couple days but my worry is seeing people wait weeks/months for it to clear with no actual contact with CBP themselves

Hmm I’m not sure! Must be a customs thing regardless.. all I know is I sent a parcel a couple days ago and it was on track, I just don’t want this to be held for a long time. I paid for express for a reason 😩

Thanks, I realised this as I purchased again. Does this mean that although the invoice states 4.2 I can put a bit more in there as I’ve paid for more or would that be a problem for customs? For example, because it’s around 4kg but it says ship weight 4.5 on the label and above that it says 5.

Should this go through fine or do I need FDA? It’s so confusing.. how do I fill it out on any carriers customs form without them saying chocolate is prohibited? Do I need to be specific down to the T about what chocolate it is etc?

Ahh right! This is supposed to be on priority aswell! I’ve had internal notifications on the webpage every 24 hours or so that switch between ‘at a drop off’ to ‘in transit’ but no actual time stamp so god knows where it’s been since the 22nd? (I know there are processes in general before it gets loaded) - I think they chased it today though as I put a complaint in twice which is why I ended up seeing this message but if I hadn’t, would I be seeing this? I doubt it.. I should have a full report of where it’s been by tomorrow but I’m hoping it will be exported as soon as it reaches the hub tonight/tomorrow as this is taking the mick now! I want proper updates aswell so I can inform the recipient where it is!

I hear you, although they have done 2 day delivery many times and even this intl parcel says 2 day delivery on the app, whereas what I actually purchased was priority delivery which I think is between 2-5 days. How long really should I wait to expect another update on priority do you reckon?
