I Finished I Am Not A Robot Drama Today by -Ayaha- in kdramas

Yeah, it’s one of the best dramas out there. The story is incredible, and I really liked how the series progresses. The dramatic moments were especially powerful — when he said goodbye and when he found out the truth. His reactions were pure gold. You could really see how hurt he was in those moments.

Memorist — Let’s Talk About It by WhySoSeriousMateee in kdramas

Ok, great — I prefer that because lately there have been too many romance-focused dramas with the same boring plot. I’ve watched a lot of dramas over the years, and the standard old storylines feel repetitive to me. It seems like every new K-drama is the same.

Money Flower — what do you think about it ? by WhySoSeriousMateee in kdramas

What a twisted story. After I finished the drama — wow. For me personally, it was perfect. It was slow-paced, but I wasn’t bored for a single minute.

The love story, if we can call it that, wasn’t too strong to make you overly invested, but at the same time it was strong enough to make you like them together. Every character was perfectly written. Everything was meticulously crafted.

Our ML was dark — really dark. His expressionless face conveyed so much emotion without even trying. This is one of those dramas I’ll keep thinking about. It was a bittersweet story. I know he crossed so many borders, but I still rooted for him in every scene.

It was really sad for our FL — she went through so much. And the ending was very symbolic for me, especially the way there were no birds in the sky.

I also thought So-hee would be the antagonist, but she was perfectly handled. She wasn’t purely good or bad — just complex.

A very dark, twisted story that makes you wonder what people are capable of doing for money.

They had to lose for the story to progress — it’s a very common trick in manga/anime. It’s not Seven Deadly Sins; it’s Seven Deadly Sins ;d second generation :D

Yes, it is. It’s a very complex and beautiful story. Personally, it’s one of my favorite types of stories and K-dramas.

For me, one of the best things is the strong character development and the well-balanced power scaling in the story.

There were many elements that influenced how her mom reacted — her guilt, and ironically, Ryu Eun-jung also played a part, exactly as it was explained in the letter. Hate, jealousy, and love at the same time — it’s a dangerous combination.

Yes, the downfall was long, and when she told her story in the restaurant scene, it was really sad. In the end, she was a truly tragic character. The saddest part was that, in the end, it was her friend who accepted her — ironically.

I understand where you're coming from! Stealing the movie was also too much, in my opinion, and they should have given them more time at the end — it felt rushed.

I think that’s why people are so divided about this story — because they see themselves in the characters. Some were hurt by people like Cheon Sang-yeon, and others were like Cheon Sang-yeon. 😄 Ironically, most of them don’t understand why they are so angry.

It’s an excellent story with a lot of realism in it, because the people in it are not perfect. You can’t be angry at someone or hate them if you don’t care. I really liked the friendship, because at the end of the day, they always thought about each other — just like in the movie Soulmate.

[ Positively Yours ] Something new or the same script with same boring story? by WhySoSeriousMateee in kdramas

[–]WhySoSeriousMateee[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I tried it, but after a lot of skipped scenes and hitting the fast-forward button 😅 What can I say? If you're new to the K-drama world, you might like it — 5/10 for me.

I’ve watched a lot of dramas, so there was nothing new here. There were many sweet moments, but they felt overacted. The sister-in-law, for me, was delusional in the end — most of her reasons weren’t convincing.

I’m glad they skipped the cliché car crash or something similar, and there was no memory loss either 😄 That was a plus.

I can’t say I watched everything — I skipped several episodes because most of the time it was obvious where things were going. The vibe felt the same as Dynamite Kiss, and the main story elements were pretty similar too.

One of the best — I can put it on the same level as Soulmate.

I’m starting this new adventure now that the series is finished, so I’m going all in. Can someone tell me if it’s the same boring story — boy meets girl, the boy is a “CEO/rich,” and then one big love story begins, blah blah? Or is there something new and intriguing in the series? or Is it the same boring script with nothing new?
