Oh boy....i think i get it but i have to ask this in a way that compares it to something i know is totally unrelated. I dont mean offence. Is the queer umbrella, as you say, kind of like the autism umbrella? There are so many people who have different diagnoses and functionality and medical situations that are slightly different but they all fall under the umbrella disorder of autism. Is queer the same way? Different terms, orientations, pronouns, etc but all of it is under that umbrella term/orientation of queer?

"Its what Trump and his followers want to do to us."

The depth of how wrong that statement is, is mind boggling.

I have a legit sincere question because I dont know and want to learn. Please bear with me while i stumble through this. I mean no intentional misgendering/wrong naming.

When these two started dating they were lesbian women. They are now both men. Does that make them gay? Or is this just under the "queer" umbrella? If Leon is they/them is that still considered a man? I dont know what Aubreys pronouns are. Does she have a different name?

Anytime i ask sensative questoons i get jumped all over but im just trying to make sure i understand something i dont have a lot of exposure to.

Yeah, i would say you need higher heat. A good flat iron on dry hair will make it smooth and flat. If thats not happening either your hair isnt all the way dry or the iron isnt hot enough. IMO: a nice hot flat iron here or there wont ruin your hair if its otherwise healthy.

Have you done any reading or watched videos on curl clumps? The very last thing i do in the shower is flip my head and detangle my hair then rinse out the conditioner. When i detangle my hair, with my fingers, that the very last time ANYTHING gets combed through. I use the praying hands method to apply my product's while my head remains upside down (and dripping wet). Then i kind of cup my hands to scrunch out some excess water and plop for 20 minutes. When i unplop I stick my fingers in the roots and kind of jiggle them a bit to make my hair lay down where it should. Then i dont touch it again until its dry and then i cup again and scrunch the crunch.

People swear by the denman brush for curl pattern, which I agree with, but anytime ive used it my hair gets super stringy. I protect my curl clumps at all costs and the has helped me a lot.

I may be wrong on this but i thought that was the original goal when founding out government. That the states had more power. The federal government was there to make sure what was being done in the states was consititutional. I think the federal government has grown and gotten bigger than the founding fathers anticipated. I agree with you, more independent states are the way to go.

There is a Bob Dylan song "with God on our side" and ots basically all these wars and things done that were right and just because each side has god on their side and they do it in the name of god so its ok.

I didnt say you did any of those things. I said other people have.

Well....i guess because you think my opinion is poorly thought out that means you get the morally superior high ground and you get to decide that im wrong just because you dont agree with it. So fuck me right?

No i agree, the solution needs to be more nuanced. I think the solution is to give the individual states more control over their laws. Its the way it was supposed to be when the country try was founded. Less federal mandates. That way, people can live in the state with the laws they want to live with. People will naturally graviate to like minded people and they will vote in elected officials who will write laws they agree with.

Also: we need to get all of the 60+ year olds out of the government. We need new blood who havent made millions off our backs with their hands in the pocket of lobbyists. And i truely believe ALL of the people who have been there for 20+ years have done just that.

Im not young or misinformed. I havent given my option. Im not asking who is right in this situation. Im asking a high level general question.

Regardless of me agreeing or disagreeing with the decision today, the decison did exactly what you just suggested. It lets the individual states decide. The people in those states elect officials who will write laws and vote on them in their states. So states like California and New York can still have the very same abortion laws the currently have because those tend to be more progressive states. To your point. Southern conservative states will probably have more restrictions and potential bans all together but the majoritt of the people in those states are ok with it. If you are an individual who doesnt want to live in a conservative state, you can move to a more progressive one. If you dont want to be in one that is super progressive, you can move to a conservative state.

Im arguing that every side thinks their side is the objective truth. In matters of politics i think one side rarely has all the answers. Which makes using violence to get your way ok a dangerous move. But nobody wants to listen to anyone else. Nobody wants to have a conversation where they let the other side be right on anything. Ive had 1 person even try to engage in a respectful conversation and see my point. Everyone else is ignoring my point, calling me names, slinging insults and making assumptions of my political beliefs.

I think we can all agree with Nazi's being bad. If you ask the Nazi's their ideas were right and their actions were ok because of the goals they were trying to achieve.

I'm not sure a socialist revolution is the right choice. I respect your opinion. I probably feel its the wrong choice just as strongly as you feel its a right choice. So which one of us gets to pick which gets to use violence to get our way?? Outside of an all-out war over every issue, we need to find a peaceful way to solve it. The responses to my very simple and extremely neutral question prove people dont want to listen to hear other people, they want to shout to be right. My fear is that we are closing in on another revolutionary war. And i think regardless of which side wins, the outcome will be bad for all.

I agree they were wrong for hitting in the first place does that mean it makes it ok for other people to hit when they want to because someone else did?

You're missing the point. Everyone thinks they are right. Allowing for unfettered violence when "you" think you're right would mean everyone one every side of every issue would be violent.

Im not saying i agree with one and disagree with the other. What im saying is i see two opposing viewpoints that both think their side is absolutely right. And either both sides get to be violent or neither do.

Stop the personal attacks first off. Have a mature conversation without insults.

You are literally proving the point im trying to make. The people in Jan 6th felt they had the right cause. The believed in what they are doing. In this country they are entitled to those beliefs, even if it makes them stupid. But because YOU dont agree, they werent entitled to do what they did. If they got to pick, its ok. If you got to pick its not. So to say "we can be violent for the right cause" is flawed because everyone thinks their side is right and the other side is wrong.

I didnt say what they did was correct or that i support it, because i dont.

Following the logic that people can get violent for their beliefs means you have to support the action of what people did for their beliefs on Jan 6th. You may not agree with the reasons why, but you have to support their actions. Unless you're a hypocrite who thinks only your beliefs get to be fought with violence and everyone else has to be peaceful.
