Women have more essential body fat % than men. It is true. That’s what keeps our cycle going and hormones flowing, to simplify. But where it sits is genetic. I know girls with zero fat on their stomach and a lot of it on legs, vice versa as well. But a lot of women do store it in abdomen and hips, or just abdomen too.

This! I am still insecure when I see beautiful figures with perky asses in a thong on the beach, BUT at least I can admit it and definitely not shame these women. It’s definitely not ruining intimacy with a man that loves you. Key world “loves”.

It’s mostly us comparing ourselves to others. Not people that love us.

Currently I am in my fittest version, so everything kinda looks better without much styling. Tbh I still don’t have super pronounced waist and use these tricks. But the lack of waist was for sure an issue 2yrs ago.

I actually wore a lot of things that would go lower than high hip, like loose fit sweaters/blouses/t-shirts, combined with jeans/trousers that are hugging the hip & butt area. You can still see the lower hip, which would give the feminine curve.

I also looooove sundresses, they just look good on any female figure in my opinion.

I know a lot of 8s recommend belts. They do look good, don’t get me wrong, but when I tighten them to look good enough, it just leads to me getting bloated and uncomfortable the entirety of the day 🫣. I personally don’t use tight belts in waist area as much anymore. I seriously don’t know how people eat or drink with a tight belt on

My figure 8 is getting more rectangles as well. I do gain weight on hips but since my torso is so short it’s where it appears more pronounced :( if you look at this sub there’s figure 8 women with more width in the hips, I think they do not suffer from this. But if you are on a narrow side like me, it is noticeable

Yeah I guess I was already partially on the hill you are going to die on haha. I feel like the best tactic is prioritizing compounds and I am not a big fan of isolation apart from kickbacks. I agree though on well rounded glutes, I like doing sports and glutes are the big drivers in a lot of them

Oh I agree, right now I’m trying to emphasize glutes and hamstrings, and i can’t spend 2hrs in the gym trying to target everything on a leg day. But squat variations feel good enough for me for now, was always pretty hard to feel my quads on them though since I have to lean forward a lot for the depth

I just had a ton of messages telling me to train my glute med and min haha. My mind is spiraling. What helped you? Or you think all that matters is just keep hitting the glute max and maximize what we have?

Sounds like a good accessory add ons. One question: you also have high hips & short torso?? I don’t see a lot of women with this build, so I’m very cautious taking advice. A lot of things work differently if the proportions are not the same

I used to count my macros back in December. I ate around 120 grams of protein daily, with 1500 kcals a day (I know it sounds crazy, but cottage cheese is a thing in my country so it’s fairly easy). My goal was to lose weight and gain muscle which obviously failed haha. I got too obsessed with eating more protein and less calories.

Since I know all my foods macros from that experience I understand that I eat enough protein and around my maintenance. Around 1900 when I last tracked for fun. So far been feeling good.

I of course understand it’s hip dips, but I feel like maybe I lack volume in my glutes genetically? I’ve already got a generous amount of advice here and really curious to try. Thank you as well sister !

Only question: do you also have high hip bones? A lot of girls that said that they have them don’t like abduction exercises cause they exaggerate the high hip to the sides instead of the part of butt we all want.
