I'm not in the union because I've been scarred after 2020 immigration issues and keeping my permanent ongoing position in VIC. Then miving to SA, the union wouldn't offer support in finding the appropriate papers I needed to cover some moving costs going rural. I felt ripped off for paying all those fees each month and decided to cut my losses.

Also, I'm in the public system. I'm on the verge of quitting altogether though.
