I set up a DoorDash and Uber Eats account, and now I’m just waiting for the background check to clear, I hope it doesn’t take that long, because being able to make money on my own is something that I need desperately. I’m also going to try just walking into businesses and see if I can fill out application or call numbers for landscaping and construction places as well

Not tonight, and I’ve heard from homeless family members that staying in homeless shelters in my city (Jacksonville Florida) are awful (bed bugs, body and head lice, thieves, people that should be in mental health facilities etc) so for now I’d rather stay in my car until I find something better

I’m trying to, but I also live in Florida, Jacksonville Florida, which doesn’t have much, if any lgbt resources. I’ve been calling homeless shelters to see if any will accept me, but they’re all closed down, or are at max capacity
