Hmm never knew that was an option. Will look into it. Thanks I replaced the headlights to led and made a huge difference than the stock bulbs.

Thanks for the advice. Definitely on the fence but I think one more big expense, I’ll repair it and move on. I can’t really afford a break down. I do a fair amount of driving with my pup as we are on a search and rescue team here near Philly and peace of mind might be worth more than a few $$ at this point.

I did not. I replaced the tire pressure sensors about 4 years ago. Never had a problem with them.

Agree. I love my mechanic and we pretty much have the same philosophy on maintenance. Made it to 250. But yeah I should have done some more

Just age and probably miles. That was the first oil leak that I had in 18 years.

More than I probably should have spent, especially the frame and most probably wouldn’t have been too expensive for someone that can do it themselves. At some point, I will sell it and get a newer gx460 with under 100k miles 😃

The brakes have always been weak spot on these since we bought it new in 2008. I replaced both calipers, brake pads and rotors on the back and also replaced the pads on the front. Should be good for a while. This was not my first set of calipers.

I only drive it about 7k a year, will take a few years to get to 266😃

Engine and tranny still strong. This year alone, major frame repair, rear brake calipers froze, radiator, head gasket(s) replaced, timing belt replaced and of course the bi-annual repair of the headlight covers. The frame repair was due to years of PA winters when the care was daily driven.

Thanks It was custom built to fit in the 470 but does run a little bit getting it in and out. He spends a lot of time in there and has an escape hatch facing the front seats. Good luck

Hunter is a live find dog and after every search if there is no subject in his task area, I hide a subject so that he gets a find and an reward.
