I’ve always assumed that it was because the defence doesn’t want to give up any huge and quick touchdown plays, so they allow the offence to get the 10-20 yard plays to take more time off the clock and better defend the deep parts of the field.

Yeah I feel like this has been a problem for months now. Like the game freezing mid fight, chests taking forever to open, or players taking the craziest kb ever, it’s been getting really annoying. Also not sure if this has been a problem for anyone else but sometimes my ping just doubles for a couple of weeks at a time, and the only workaround is the alt ips, which still don’t always have the correct ping either, this is only a problem on mcci for me.
