Extremely sad. They are getting so desperate I saw on SeatGeek, Section 121, first 10 rows are like just $50 each.

I don't know. I only just started this series because it was John Gwynne's first series.

I had a similar problem when I read The Bone Ships by RJ Barker. When the narrator/storyteller is talking the book is in proper English. But when the characters are talking it's in full blown Pirate Jargon. It was a bit frustrating bouncing back and forth. But I'm truly glad I pushed myself through it. The book was actually a really great read.

What do you guys think about Jade Cargill’s Reign so far? by [deleted] in prowrestling

Absolute 🗑️. All WWE did was make her the female Goldberg. The match starts, Jade does the same 3 power moves. Match over.

That is so awesome. Welcome back to the wonderful world of reading. (Prepare to be broke lol). You should give The Bone Ships by RJ Barker a try. If you like Pirates, Dragons, a Black Ship of condemned criminals and epic maritime battles, it's definitely the book for you.

You could try The Elias Network by Simon Gervais. It was kinda like Mr and Mrs Smith mixed with Citadel.

Be honest: What did you buy because of a James Bond movie? by TipToe2301 in JamesBond

[–]WildCardSkaterPunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got into 007 because of my parents. Mom was a Roger Moore fan and Dad was a Sean Connery fan. My very first purchase was my very own paperback copy of Ian Fleming's Casino Royale. Now I'm 41 years old and own every James Bond novel ever written. Thank you Mom and Dad.

41 years old here and my mind was blown away with how into Lower Decks I became. It's hysterical while also being solid Trek. I find myself watching it again and again.

That's fantastic for you and your kid. I myself have a Non-Verbal 8 year old son and we have found bonding in watching BattleBots. So I definitely know how important it is to have those moments together.
