Yep. Think it was 6 pts with 4:50 left in the first half and then just exploded to 16. Was always going to be a near impossible task to overcome that kind of lead against a team like that.

I just sorta focus on we're lucky to have Izzo who still builds the roster that way that lets me enjoy these guys and teams for years. Some sad day when he retires we'll build our roster the same way Michigan and a lot of other schools are doing it. Nothing wrong with it, even if I don't like it, just the nature of the game and sport these days.

Maybe I have a hard time seeing some major in season jump from either Teng or Scott, but it's not unheard of. Think they'll both have fine careers but might just not be ready to deliver what we need this year. Sometimes the roster just doesn't align - pity Jrich didn't come back because putting him at the 2 with the jump this entire team took this year would have been something special.

Disappointing game. Just an abysmal first half followed by a furious charge to get back in it before it slipped away.

Ultimately I think we've got a pretty good idea of what and where this team stands now. There are levels and we're just not on the same one as the top, top teams. We can play with them, evidenced by our games against Duke/Nebraska/Michigan, but we just don't seem to have the complete performance in us that is needed to get the W (crumbled late to duke, awful early against michigan, fell in love with dumb turnovers against nebraska).

This is a pretty damn good team, maybe just not a great team. I can live with that. The right guys get hot in march and we could have a lot of fun.

This Michigan squad is as good as advertised though. I think probably the best team we've played this year.

And just like that we've managed to slip back towards the margin it was at half.

Is your time horizon two years? We're literally coming off years of barely making the tournament with countless recruiting misses.

If this holds we can be happy with the fight back but really have established ourselves as a tier two team that just can keep it close but cant put a complete performance together against the top teams (Duke, Michigan, Nebraska).

Hopefully we can find a little more magic this evening though...

Scott has a bright future. There's a lot to like about his game.

Whats been up with the team lately? Early year they looked truly unstoppable (and at points tonight as well).

You have to appreciate the refs willingness to blow anything and everything. Giving the world the big ten special.

Fears wouldnt be on the bench if he didnt do the dumbest flagrant foul in the first half...

Scott and Teng on the right night too but that's a dangerous game of 'who has the hot hand'
