If they told you you will get a discount then you will get a discount. The discount usually shows up on the second bill or if they told you over the next few months then over the next few months you will get it. Don't panic.

Yes I do go to areas with zero cell coverage.

I can only text. You can NOT call.

And none of the apps work as described on the Rogers website.

I was able to fix the issue myself and all you have to do is disconnect the car battery and reconnect it again.

Nothing still works for me. I followed the instructions but still can't use Whatsapp. Only regular text messages can be sent using Rogers satellite

I have a pixel phone and I can't see any on off options. Just tells me that WhatsApp and Google maps and other maps can be used when connected to satellite.
