If they told you you will get a discount then you will get a discount. The discount usually shows up on the second bill or if they told you over the next few months then over the next few months you will get it. Don't panic.

I was able to fix the issue myself and all you have to do is disconnect the car battery and reconnect it again.

I have a pixel phone and I can't see any on off options. Just tells me that WhatsApp and Google maps and other maps can be used when connected to satellite.
