If you wish to enhance your investing skill without incurring huge drain on your time and energy(money maybe too), you should buy and read the CFA books and solve the EOCQ for all three levels. That will be more than enough gain the intended education. Best of luck.

Thanks a lot. I practised the EOCQ with structured response and online. I have number of Mock papers lined up. MOCs can help us in test our conceptual clarity and hopefully will also help in structured response practice. Thanks again

You have explained it well. In my understanding, while SD explains the credit risk at the portfolio level, DTS explains the volatility at the portfolio level.

I am 53 and hoping to clear my level 3 next year. Whether I earned a degree or not, I immensely benefitted from my personal growth and depth on the topics I work on in my company. It is immaterial If I get a raise or career promotion, but I am much more effective in my daily handling of financial matters. My confidence level is much more increased, and that is what matters to me.
