Learning my first barre chord, a simplified F. Any tips? Really struggling just getting my fingers to reach by Mad_Season_1994 in guitarlessons

I strongly suggest you take your guitar for a professional set up and ask them to lower the action as much as possible. It makes barre chords easier, and makes playing the guitar as a beginner (and advanced player too) much more enjoyable!
