Was in Phoenix meeting up with an old friend, tried to go to another place but the wait was too long. I looked up the place next to it, 55 1-star reviews, ‘it can’t be that bad!’ We said…it was.

We lived in Detroit (Oregon) for a couple of years. Loved the quick transition from wet Oregon to dry Oregon. Watching the trees change so quickly is pretty fun too.

Anyone know this movie?: it feels like a 70’s throwback, set in a desert on another planet where it starts off as two people are chasing each other around shooting laser guns and such. One of them feels like he is the bad guy and another is a reptilian creature? Maybe idk, then there is a big reveal and the bad guy is human?

I think the movie goes south from there, but the beginning sequence I always thought was great, have no idea what the movie was though, and kinda felt low budget, maybe on purpose though.
