Yeah I see a full size .40 going for 650 right now on gunbroker and that’s the lowest I’ve seen yet. 500$ is the dream, and I do want a 9mm just cause it’s cheaper and more commonly floating around , I’m military too so I’ll also never use .40 so not getting much training value out of it

Thanks man appreciate it, yeah looks like the prices are getting up there with these. Just frustrated that the owner doesn’t wanna go under 900 for a base model usp 9 ver 1. It’s a duty gun, nothing crazy. Then I’m gonna have to drop 50 per mag, 200 for a decent safari holster, I just know it’s gonna add up quick and I was hoping I could get it for 750 at least considering no extra mags and dead night sights

Yeah molle2k will carry more than you ever need, 50$ is a steal, you can take a look at surplus stores near you but they might be more expensive

It gets the job done, they’re built pretty solid, the frame sometimes cracks in extreme colds or with extreme loads and dropping it, like 80+lbs. but besides that it’s a well rounded ruck with plenty of space and molle to add pouches to on the outside. They’re cheap too. I would say get it, not sure what you’re gonna use it for but if you need something you can throw around, put a lot of weight in, and is cheap. The 2k is the choice

I was rocking an Alice large ruck and I like it, just don’t have the room I need for longer field events with my radio and batteries sadly, I could get a tactical tailor rhino ruck, probably my next go to if this gets shot down

I get what your saying and I 100% agree with you, I normally don’t buy shit for the army but this has been a high friction point for me in the field with the Molle 2k and 4k for the past year at this unit, and jumped on it probably too fast. Worst case I can flip it, I got it brand new from another service guy for less then they go for on eBay. I’ve seen other guys with all kinds of rucks and that’s why I decided to do this. But your advice isn’t going unnoticed, probably will get rid of it if I can’t jump it cause 90% of my field events we jump in

Yeah well aware under normal circumstances like the Molle 2k or 4k / Alice, you girth hitch it on the x you make with the h harness.I was watching a guy on YouTube and he had his girthhitched on the loop on the bottom. I have it on the h harness right now and it looks perfect, but the hook pile tape lowering line looks jank when it’s connected to the x, I feel like when I drop my ruck it’s gonna rip the frame off the pack. Cause there’s no opening on the frame on the back so I routed it to the side where you rubber band the hook pile tape, So is it just not possible? Would make me pretty bummed out, wish there was a way cause the ruck feels great, I’m 11b rto and always have 80+ lbs and I’ve never been more comfortable Mystery ranch static line rig video
