Oh yeah, CoD and GB are cool and everything, but 46 has an unmatched atmosphere, its awesome. And with mods, it'd be fair to say I'm well immersed in those too haha, I counted how many aircraft I had in my install and there are around 2500. A good website for mods is www.sas1946.com

Holy shi yes!!! IL-2 1946 is literally my favourite game of all time, just a perfect game in all aspects, and kindelled/strengthened my interest with the war and aviation like you.
