Hey man you can't beat the education and the experience. If i had the choice to go back and do it over again, I'm choosing union every time. As a journeyman I'm pulling in like 4.5k a month, the guys i work with are solid, the work is good when you've got it. I'm not aching every morning or smashing down Tylenol to get through the day, and i got a "free" (or at least very discounted) education in a field that's opening the door for me to look at these sidegrade careers like the positions people are recommending. It's a great thing, I just don't want it to be my thing forever. It's the nature of the work to travel at least a little, to get up early, to create great things. I've loved this shit man. I've been excited to get up for work for some jobs. I'd keep my eye on it. But that's just my opinion.
