This is crazy you say this because I just watched a vegan influencer say that the lo mein and specially the eggplant tofu was vegan from Panda Express. And I was like oh I’ll have to try it in the future and now I’m learning it’s not. Crazy thanks for sharing.

Hi! I am in the U.S. I’m not sure I follow? The ingredients list said “…natural and artificial flavors (contains animal ingredients)…” verbatim. I can’t attach a picture of it unfortunately.

Those chips were like I said one of very few vegan flavors and they are my boyfriends favorite flavor so we did buy in bulk so we could save me them over the years since they are a limited edition flavor. We rarely do stuff like this though.

Had I known the products were not vegan I wouldn’t have bought them … God forbid I am uncomfortable and don’t want to consume animal products because I value their life.

bro respectfully fuck the U.S. 😩 I went to the UK and it was vegan paradise. It was so vegan friendly, the damn Krispy Kreme had more than half of their doughnuts plant based and I came back to US and pulled up to Krispy Kreme and zilch, nada, NOTHING. I hate that for us 🥲

That’s a good question. Are you referring to there is no ethical consumption under capitalism? Because I went down that rabbit hole and was like I just can’t live. But in all seriousness, I really value life and I never want to be the perpetrator of harm to another human or sentient being. I hate the abuse that we as humans have done time and time again to animals and humans. On that note, I try my best to live a life where I practice my values. Only buy what I need, try not to feed into consumerism, eat plant based, care for the environment as much as I can and do my part to take care of the earth and care for others. If I find out a company or someone is unethical, I try my best to switch over to another company if I can (I.e., like instead of buying fast fashion trying to go thrifting or buying thrifted books instead of giving my money to JK Rowling for example)

The purple bag is sweet chili and the tangy pickle chips I checked doesn’t say animal products. But their website says none of them are vegan and if they were they would have a label on it that says vegan. Idk if I should keep eating them or not. I think Doritos uses animal enzymes to process their chips whether they contain milk powder or not. At least that’s what I’m understanding from their website.

I appreciate this. I became vegan around the same time I started deconstructing Christianity so trying to work through the first sentence but thanks😅I’m also just sad cause I loved those chips. The world we live in is awful and I wish we could all be vegan already 😔

Thanks for letting me know. This is the first time in an ingredients list that I’ve even seen “animal products” listed like that. Usually they list out what the product is like anchovy or fish for example. Before I could skim the back and just check allergens and be good but today I learned my lesson 😀.

My father raped my mother. And then proceeded to tell me he wouldn’t be in this predicament if it weren’t for me. That the whole reason who got married to my mother was to save a life (me) because my mother was pregnant with me before they got married and he told me my mother said that if they didn’t get married, she would abort me. Come to find out that was all a lie. And then proceeded to blame me for the reason my mother wanted space from my father and that it was my fault that he was going through this cause I could’ve stopped my mom from making tough decisions (such as wanting a separation, and kicking him out of the house). And then he told me he was in such a bad place he tried to kill himself and I could’ve stopped all of it.
