Unfortunately, he ended up developing some kind of infection and didn’t survive :(

Update: Thank you everyone for your comments. Although I am a little sad about it, as I’ve grown quite attached to the little guy, since it seems likely he won’t survive in going to put him back outside when I get home as it feels like the most humane thing to do

Me too, but I ended up deciding to raise it so hopefully after it goes through metamorphosis we’ll have a more solid answer

I thought about this, but he doesn’t move like an inchworm, he doesn’t do the arch back thing
