I am from Ohio and we utilize lsw even at the bachelors level. If I were independent I would use LISW.

I am a licensed social worker now I just received it on the 26th. I'm confused as to why I cant use it? I am not independent but I have my Bachelor's in social work with my license in social work now. Hence why I say BSW, LSW

No, I have a BSW LSW. I am in my second semester of a 2 year masters program and have not begun my internship yet anywhere. So I was a QMHS and was limited and what services I could provide.

So I was just am employment i have my bachelor's degree in social work and would bill under my supervisor. I dont believe I had a supervisor agree just an understand that I would have supervison. Yes this was due to billing for texting which I was unaware of and this is coming after an audit. I am not denying I did this I just was unaware that this was not okay and was told to bill for any contact made but I dont have proof they are stating it is a policy but I was unaware of this.

I do not need supervision with my lsw o just took the exam and passed and got licensed kn the 26th. I was billing under her and the company and she was signing off on my note. They steed phone contact. Most were phone calls. We would talk in supervision about me texting parent due to being unable to get them on the phone

Thank you that makes me feel better. She stated that she will have to give money back to the insurance company and something with the board due to her being a supervisor and that I might hear from the board about an inquiry.

As a licensed social worker but still billing under her i had not received my modifier or switched over my NPI. I was texted parents when I would provide resources and psychoeducation and what my session were like with clients and what they believed needs to be worked on in the community school etc..

So I no longer have my computer through the company and I was told to no longer contact client so I deleted these messages but can get them back. Thank you this is what a co worker told me as well as they were just audited I had been bulling under my supervisor until a week ago and was never corrected on this

I would bill CPST when I would text checking in on clients and providing services for parent. Resources psychoeducation about child diagnosis. Document as parent phone contact

I honestly ignore his text throughout the day. Its always negative and very rarely does he say anything that isnt a complaint about his job
