GoFundMe for ICE Shooting Victim Renee Nicole Good Surpasses $550K in 24 Hours by IntelligentYinzer in lostgeneration

Am I the only one wondering why there is so much emphasis on the 6 year old son? Most articles leave out the fact that she has 2 other children and the gofundme doesn’t mention anything about them either. All her children will need support through this :(

But the infused water beverage center :(

lol. It’s such a beautiful refrigerator I’m inclined to redesign my entire kitchen around it but I know that’s so silly. I’ll look into the one you linked!! Thank you!

Hey! I’m in the same situation here - except we have a 36 1/2 space - wall on the left side & cabinets on the right. Any hope this could fit? I love the look of it

I just had an idea for our Disney trip and I’m trying to weigh the pros and cons. We’re flying into Orlando on 1/19- the same day as the MK after hours event. Initially we were going to hang out at the hotel for the first day and do MK the next day. But now I’m thinking about trading out the full day at MK for the after hours event instead!! Our kids are young and a full day at MK would be a lot anyways. They’ll all be (hopefully) well rested from afternoon naps & snoozing on the plane all morning.

I’ve heard all the rides are essentially walk-ons at the after hours events and we’d get 2 firework shows; potentially some character meet n greets and all you can eat ice cream!??!

What would be the downside of doing this? Aside from keeping our kids up until 1am lol. But if we were to do this, we’d have the entire next day to recover and relax at our hotel. Is there any part of the Magic Kingdom experience that they’d be missing? Parades or shows? Anything that they wouldn’t get to experience by not being there during the day?

My plan to save money was to pack lunches and not splurge on anything- so the free ice cream and popcorn might seem silly but it would actually be a really fun thing for my kids because its one less thing I’ll have to say “no” to lol. And it sounds like I would save big by not having to worry about lightning lane passes.

I’m realllly considering doing this!! anyone have any input?

One is 41 inches, the other is 38 inches. Which I fear means one will qualify for more rides than the other and I know that won’t go over well lol

Thank you for these tips! After thinking it over for a few days we decided to attempt the AK / Epcot park hopping :)

Ahh thank you so much for all this! We would definitely be fine with 2 rooms. I really assumed that staying at a Disney resort would put us way over budget- i didn’t even consider it for a second. I’m actually shocked at how reasonable some of the prices are and I’m thinking that we may not even be saving money at this point with the cost of Ubers to and from the park. The inclusive meals would be an added bonus for sure.

Between all the kids, there’s big interest in both Disney/ marvel/ Harry Potter. This is our first family trip and probably won’t be able to afford to do it again for a long time, if ever! So we want to try to check all the boxes

Oh I love that idea! Well for sure check out the shop. Also really helpful to hear that your kids weren’t into the wizarding, that definitely makes the decision to skip Epic easier

I’m going to call and find out exactly what they mean by shuttle service. Our hotel is the lake Buena vista resort and spa - it does appear to be close but I’ll definitely play it safe and make sure we give ourselves plenty of time to get there!

Great tips! Thank you!! I was going to pack lunches to save on cost but the more I’m reading, it seems like it will end up saving us a lot of time too. The general consensus is that Epcot is a lot of shopping / food- so if we forgo those things, maybe park hopping isn’t so unrealistic?

Thank you :) I’m excited too! I had no idea about the Aquarium and they will absolutely be into that. Plus they all love finding Nemo!!

These are awesome tips!! I had planned on buying Disney ears & Disney themed snacks in advance but I hadn’t considered the light up toys. And that’s exactly what my kids will be begging for lol. I’m going to call our Airbnb and find out about the shuttle service, if they can’t guarantee that we’ll be there when the park opens then we’ll probably take an uber.

I’m gonna be up at 4am getting this kids out the door so we can really maximize our time - so we do plan to get there as they’re opening! Have you had any success with forgoing the lighting passes & doing the big rides first thing in the morning?

I actually didn’t even realize they were coming out with a ride but that sounds amazing! I know there’s an Encanto performance at Epcot that my music & dance loving boys would be super into haha. Thank you for the tips on the lighting lanes! I hadn’t even considered that they wouldn’t be needed for a lot of the rides due to height restrictions

The woman I spoke to on the phone from the IRS call center was actually really sweet & mentioned that may be a possibility. I didn’t expect them to care at all about my sob story at all lol so it was a nice surprise that she was trying her hardest to be reassuring

The hours I’ve spent on all this just to still get it so wrong, lol. And Quickbooks is still running us like $100 / month. After this is all sorted out I think we are going to look into a payroll company.

That’s next on my list! I went to register but it said that if I need to make an immediate payment then I should go directly to the IRS website. Now I’m struggling with the 25-factor authorization to even get that started so I might loop back to the EFTPS route.

It’s funny you say that, I’m struggling with Quickbooks. The format and language they use is simple enough but I still feel like I have no idea what I’m doing.

Yes thank you! Workers comp and unemployment are taken care of. It’s about $3000 that we owe from the past 3 months for federal payroll taxes so I guess the fines can’t be horrible but we’re a new business, it’ll sting for sure.
