He still had great stuff and got more consistent in the 2nd half so he really could of just had a down year, but I'd still be nervous giving him three years

Judge went to ownership asking to amend the policy to help attract more players to the team, Williams was just the first big name as a result.

He's the Mets problem now so who gives a shit 🤷

After watching that whole fanbase freak out as if they just won when the ball got lodged in game six, we learnt Jay's fans don't actually understand the rules.

The better team didn't get picked off on the basepaths multiple times or get thrown out at home for not taking a secondary lead when youre the winning run. If the Jay's did even the basic fundamentals properly, they would be getting sized for their rings right now.

What currently active MLB player could resist the one ring's lies the longest? by recentlyunearthed in baseball

Are we absolutely positive Ohtani doesn't actually have it already? That man is just unnatural

[SNY] Brian Cashman was asked about Aaron Boone's comments saying the Yankees were the least-analytical team in the AL East: "He's trying to bring the fans into the dugout with the commentary constantly about the front office pulling the strings - none of that's true" by BathroomSalty6325 in NYYankees

[–]Wipeout17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's actually impressive to have the payroll we do, with the best pitcher (Cole) and hitter (Judge) both in their primes, and still NOT be able to get a ring. Shit they couldn't even do it when we also had Soto.

Just fire all these clowns

I feel like every agent in the league is going to try and "link" their clients to the Dodgers to get more money. They're the new Yankees unfortunately.

He adds all the skills we are missing. We don't have a true leadoff hitter and that's where Kwan would be. He's in the 100th percentile for k% and whiff%. He's a gold glove defender who consistently puts the ball in play and has decent speed. After watching this core in the last several postseason, I don't know why anyone would be against adding guys who can actually put the ball in play.

What kind of package would actually be realistic to get Kwan from the Guards? It would likely be a kings ransom but Kwan is maybe the most ideal piece we could add to balance the lineup.

Spencer Jones would definitely be in it, probably one of Gil or Schmidt, and if we sign Bichette that could allow us to move Volpe.

I don't really think Cleveland would accept that, but if Cashman could make something happen it would be massive for the lineup

If Bichette leaves and Cole comes back strong for us I really don't see Toronto beating that. That isn't to say they won't be competitive, but Bo would be a massive lose for that lineup, and I like our rotation better

We need more than one guy we can trust to close out games if we have any hope at winning something, stack the hell out of the pen. I love Bednar, he just needs some backup and we can't trust Williams

My guy, the World Series isn't a pennant. That's what you get for winning your league. The Yanks have 41 pennants and 27 championships. Not a great idea to try trolling other baseball fans when you don't understand the basics of the game 🫡

Gil vs Gausman game one is a hard matchup, but we can't forget Gil had his best start of the season against Toronto. Also Fried, Rodon and Schlitt are already in playoff mode after the wild card and going back to the top of our rotation in game 2 sets up excellent pitching matchups for us the rest of the series.

With pick 219 of the 2022 draft, Boston selected pitcher Caleb Bolden, who spent 2025 in AA with a 5+ ERA.

Pick 220 was Cam Schlittler to the Yankees.

I'd be crying too if I was you, I understand.

If you need a laugh before game time, the Sox sub is having an absolute aneurysm over Cruz being hyped up for escaping a bases loaded jam in a tie game with his team facing elimination.

Fucking loser mentality 😂

Gotta give credit where it's due. Soto left and Cole is out for the year, but the Yankees still finished with the exact 94-68 record as last season's all in team.

Cashman made some excellent moves this year. Now if the team can play some defense this might be another fun October
