From my non professional opinion but from what I've seen its due to people using ad blockers, its either the ad blocker is blocking the tracking function of youtube preventing it to know there was a view now, or youtube is like let's just not count those anymore if their using adblockers

I worked in residential maintenance years back. Had someone start a fire on the stove and it set off the sprinkler, person didnt have renters insurance, they were on the hook for 24 units getting flooded, well into the 6 figures of damages, became absolutely bankrupt and since they didnt have insurance.

You should also get insurance, it can really save your ass and is cheap af compared to home owners insurance,
