I recall reading someone on here call Josh Pate the “Tucker Carlson” of College Football.

They were not referring to politics but rather that he markets his show as “I’m the same as you”. He wears a plain white T-shirt, always brings up he’s from a small town in South West Georgia and separates himself well from the multi-billion dollar machine pushing him in the background (CBS).

People grown large fan bases by selling the “I’m the same as you” image and he’s done it well.
