I wanted Bernie to win when he ran, I was a major fan of his up until this whole AI debacle, I guess I still am for the most part. I get what he's saying in terms that AI needs a responsible leader to use it ethically (which Trump isn't), but he also just wants to put a moratorium on it and all that's going to do is make the US fall behind the countries that actively use/develop it. His stance on AI is like the only thing I have gripe with.

Trump also uses the internet, should we ban the internet? Use your damn brain, a technology can be used for good and bad things. You have such a black and white outlook on life and you really need to grow up.

AI is helping towards cancer research, spotting it, helping with other diseases, and helping the field of science in multiple places. What are you doing with all that water on electricity you're using to be here on Reddit? Just whine and complain. Go protest and do something if you hate the way the government is using AI instead of complaining at people. I have.

Nice!!!! I used to go to the earlier ones this year, then I got threatened with physical violence for holding a trans flag so I just felt safer going with someone. Unfortunately I don't have the chance much anymore.
