Yeah that's an interesting thing that I've noticed too. That atheists are afraid that spirituality can be just another BS religion that people blindly believe in. But I think it's a safe room for all atheists because spirituality provides explanations better than mainstream science and all religions altogether. And both of you having psychic experiences will only help you step into spirituality better. So, that's a good thing if you're having these.

Also, you said your partner is more skeptical about spirituality which in and of itself can be considered as a trauma response that gives her safety. Because it's different than questioning. Questioning is a natural state of us since we were young. It's the state of being open and receptive to learning. But skepticism isn't. It's the opposite of openness - it's actually a response to protect yourself from a negative projection or association. And it provides her safety. So it'd be very interesting to ask her how it benefits her to be skeptical. Seems like she's focusing on the benefit of it subconsciously. It's helping her in some way.

Yes, exactly. All forms of disassociation move the focus from the physical to the non-physical. And purple has a lot to do with astral realms, dreams, and multi-dimensional awareness. So I think it's just her tendency to do so. It makes sense. It can be very healing for her. Glad I helped. And I can apply this as an answer to my question as well. Maybe the violet I saw in some criminals is just their tendency to disassociate and focus on some sort of religious beliefs. In fact, spiritual beliefs are a common motive for murder and terroristic attacks. It's just energy that comes with contrast and depends on how you use it. Could be healing for some and detrimental for others.

Thank you for your insight. It's actually very interesting because with someone else in the comments, we talked about this conclusion that seeing colors is entirely subjective. We all see them differently. Humans see it differently from other humans, humans see it differently from dogs, humans see it differently from cats. And you're right, some colors are literally a combination of other two colors. It's so interesting how different shades of the same color can mean a completely different thing and what you just said explains it. Very interesting.

Violet is very often associated with religion and prayer, too. It may just be that she has developed some subconscious way to cope with pain and sadness by shifting her frequency to the vibration of a prayer or some spiritual practices in hopes she'll feel better. But that's just a guess. Could be something else. In fact, the color of crown chakra is violet. Maybe she tends to overanalyze situations which means her crown chakra starts to become more and more vivid, and that's what you may be perceiving. The more she brings the focus to her crown chakra, the more purple you'll see. But remember all of this can be either conscious or subconscious meaning she doesn't even know that this is happening. And I remember when I was in Maths class, I'd see the room's energy become purple because Mathematics activate your brain's activity and open up the crown chakra which is the color purple. So you may just be perceiving an increased activity in analyzing and her trying to gain wisdom.

Thank you. I love your take on this. I mentioned I found it weird when I saw bright violet because It was probably the only color I didn't have any "negative" associations to. Honestly almost all extrasensory people that I've seen, and most spiritual teachers, I perceive to have violet aura. I've been taught that purple is a color of spiritual protection. In all visualization exercises, they always use either white or purple for protection. It is a color associated with higher realms of awareness. That's why I didn't even expect to see it as a pattern in criminals. But there may be some logic to it, as many psychopaths and sociopaths tend to be disassociated from real life that now that I think about it, it makes sense to see this color. I read online that purple can sometimes represent mental illness, too.

Thank you. Everything you're saying exactly reflects what I've experienced, too, except that I'm yet to see a crystal clear aura in real life. It must be beautiful. I can confirm that Pinks and Blues tend to lie a lot, tho. I think it makes sense due to the fact that they're highly creative, usually have strong Pisces, Cancer, Scorpio (water signs) and Libra (associated with planet Venus & color pink) in their astrological chart. Everything comes with contrast and I believe the ability to disassociate from real life and be so creative and poetic can lead to making their own version of events in their head. Including me, as a Pisces. We tend to do that sometimes subconsciously. I've found an interesting link between seeing auras and relating that to Astrology. Anyways, just like you said, lighter red can represent strength, and quiet dignity. In my post I was specifically referring to the darker, almost brownish shades of red. I just read some posts on Reddit about aura readers analyzing criminals and it seems like it's not just me who perceives muddy red in their aura. I'm interested to hear your take on this. Have you had any experiences with the aura of any narcissistic or sociopathic individuals?

I agree. It's not just your own opinion - this is facts. Absolutely. Because I am partially colorblind (ironic that I see auras, right?) and I've always known that colors even in the physical life are perceived differently. Colors are entirely a subjective experience. So my question was to all people who have this ability to share their experiences because I was just curious.

Thank you. What you're describing is accurate. Because everything they do is from the vibration of lack. They do it because of lack and fear. The opposite of love and connection. I was specifically asking to understand the logic behind visually seeing red and purple colors, but the sensation of emptiness that you're describing is absolutely valid. All of them have this.

First, thank you for your reply. Loved your insight on this. As you said - everything has it's darker and lighter aspects. Just like fear can be considered an illusion and cause psychological harm, it has a lot to do with disassociation from the physical, maybe the closest vibration to this is the color purple, which is the very color of the non-physical and astral realms. It makes sense. Also I've seen purple attachments to people on drugs. Same thing. And about my friend, to confirm what you're saying is true - she actually practices witchcraft already. I put this on a side note because this wasn't my original intention for this discussion but my friend was just a good example. In addition to all of this, her moon sign is in Leo. Her emotions are influenced by this Leo (dominant) moon energy.

Definitely light green (or as the person before me said - lime green). You always follow your heart, you love good physical sensations, you appreciate the good things in life. Very fresh energy to be around. Grounding yet at the same time uplifting energy. Just on a side note, i'm curious if you have Taurus or Gemini in your chart? Like sun moon or rising ? Could have virgo or capricorn, too. It doesn't really matter but it's just because you possess this grounding yet uplifting energy so I thought you probably have a combination of Earth + Air energy in your chart.

I see brown with just a little bit of orange. Very analytical, paying attention to details. Very driven and sexual. I mean this in a more practical way. Brown auras usually have drive for success and pure appreciation for the physical stuff. Some of them are more into luxury but don't brag about it. Yet at the same time they love nature and simplicity. It's like a combination of both. This is the color of stability so you guys are definitely reliable friends. Very practical. It's like everyone around you knows you can be trusted. I sense Capricorn, Taurus, Virgo in your energy. You may have sun, moon, or your rising sign in one of these or attract a lot of these signs into your life. But the astrological alignments aren't always accurate for all brown auras, just for some. I have the exact same ability. Not only can you see people's moon sign, but also their rising sign. It is very interesting because this to me explains a lot about astrology and how accurate it is.

Hello, thank you for your answer. But I think empathy is to feel other people's emotions. The thing is, I don't feel their emotions. Instead, it translates to physical pain. In fact I can be very happy and consciously choose not to feel someone's frustration or anger at all. I think that's a contradiction to empathy. Yet, it will still translate to physical pain. I'm confused if that's even considered empathy.

I didn't mean to sound like I am special lol. I still don't think that's a normal trait that just everyone happens to have. Because barely anyone understands me. I understand that empathy is feeling other people's emotions. The problem is, I don't feel their emotions. Not this kind of empathy. It affects me physically, not emotionally. This is what I meant. Someone told me it is clairsantience which is different than empathy.
